x Indian Mutiny 1857-58, one clasp, Central India (Lieut. G.F.[sic] Estridge, 24th Bombay N.I.), light contact marks, good very fine Estimate £ 400-450 Lieutenant George Tyler Estridge, born St. Kitts, West Indies, 1835; educated at Clapham Grammar School; was employed as a junior clerk in the Union Bank of Australia, 1852-54 and spent 6 months being employed in a similar position with the Bank of British North America; commissioned Ensign 24th Bombay Native Infantry, February 1855; Lieutenant 1858; died and buried at Belgaum, 26.6.1862.
