x Queensland Covers and Cancellations 1872 (19 Feb.) envelope registered from Brisbane to Hanover, Germany, bearing 1862-67 thick toned paper, no wmk., perf 12 1/2x13 1/- grey and 1864-65 watermark Small Star perf 13 "registered" (6d.) olive-yellow, both cancelled by Brisbane "gpo" obliterator, showing "registered/brisbane" oval d.s. partly overstruck by London Registered transit d.s., both in red, with arrival datestamp (24.4) on reverse; the envelope a little soiled in places and a few minor stains around adhesives.
