x Queensland Covers and Cancellations 1871 (16 Oct.) blue envelope from Allora to the Bank of New South Wales at Toowoomba, bearing 1868-78 wmk Crown and Q, perf 13 2d. blue cancelled by sunburst "31" and showing, on reverse, despatch and arrival (16.10) datestamps; Upon arrival the Postmaster endorsed the envelope "Supposed to contain money. Charge 6d", applied the "registered/toowoomba" h.s. with the additional fee paid by the bank; some very light discolouration around adhesive and the envelope with two pinholes at left.
