India 1854 Issue Covers 1855 (5 Feb.) entire from Calcutta "Per Str. Bentinck. Via Marseilles." to Bordeaux, bearing 4a. 2nd. Printing, two distinctly different shades with just touched to clear margins and each neatly cancelled with diamond of dots, the left-hand stamp tied by Marseilles entry c.d.s. in red and with framed "india/paid" h.s. alongside, "10" (decimes) rate mark at foot, three c.d.s. on reverse.
