India 1854 Issue Covers 1855 (May) small envelope from Madras "Stamped 4as. Via Southampton" to Jersey, bearing 4a. 4th. Printing blue and red (cut-to-shape) clearly cancelled "C/10", showing crescent-shaped "india paid" with manuscript "6d" alongside Madras G.P.O. d.s., the reverse with despatch and arrival (8.7) d.s.; an attractive cover to a scarce destination.
