New Zealand 1845-66, reverse dated 1863-1864 (R. Jordan, Signal Mn., H.M.S. Miranda), nearly extremely fine Estimate £ 400-450 Richard Jordan, born Sheerness, Kent, 1839; service in the Royal Navy including in H.M.S. Boscawen, Poitiers and the Miranda. Approximately 92 New Zealand medals were awarded to H.M.S. Miranda, 31 of which are recorded as known in Naval Medals 1793-1856, K. Douglas-Morris the appearance of Jordan´´s medal now makes it 32. All of the latter have the reverse dated 1863-1864.
