x Malaya Straits Settlements 1847 (28 Feb.) entire letter from Batavia to Birmingham marked "via Southampton", the flap, which opens well for display, with double-oval "forwarded by/wanderson sen & co/batavia" and a good strike of the boxed "singapore/1847 April/Bearing" plus London and Birmingham c.d.s.; the front with a good strike of oval "zeexbrien/franco" in blue and handstruck rate mark.
