x Great Britain Postal History Ireland 1908 (12 Apr.) envelope addressed to "Mr. Thomas J. Clarke, 55 Amiens St., Dublin", bearing 1902-10 1d. (affixed upside down - a widely used means of insulting the British state) and Sinn Fein ´Celtic Cross´ label in blue and black, both tied by fine Limerick c.d.s´s; some faults though still most attractive. Accompanied by an original postcard (unused) commemorating the 1916 rebellion and showing large vignette of "Thomas J. Clarke, Executed May 3rd 1916". Photo for the envelope
