A Rare ´French Theatre´ M.M., Russian Intervention D.C.M. Group of Four to Corporal T.E. Lee, Royal Field Artillery Distinguished Conduct Medal, G.V.R. (42451 Cpl. T.E. Lee. R.F.A.); Military Medal, G.V.R. (42451 Dvr:- A.Bmbr:- T.E. Lee. 107/By: R.F.A.); 1914 Star (42451 Dvr:T.E. Lee. R.F.A.); British War Medal (42451 Cpl. T.E. Lee. R.A.), extremely fine (4) Estimate £ 1,800-2,200D.C.M. London Gazette 21.1.1920 Cpl. 443 By., R.F.A. (Gillingham) ´At Onega on 1st August, 1919, he was in charge of a Lewis Gun on shore, which he worked with great coolness and judgement. On two occasions he brought in wounded Russians who had been left by their comrades, under very heavy machine gun and rifle fire. Later, he was wounded, but continued at his post until ordered to return to the ship. By his coolness under fire and disregard of danger he set a splendid example to all ranks.´ M.M.
