An Infantry Officer´s 1895 Pattern Sword With narrow 32in. fullered blade (maker´s name indistinct but possibly harman & co), originally etched with foliate decoration etc, plated steel guard with vr cypher, wire-bound fishskin grip, in its brown leather scabbard (lacking mouthpiece and frog-tab), together with its black oilskin cover Estimate £ 60-90This sword belonged to Lt Col the Hon Randall Montague Feilden, Oxfordshire Light Infantry.
