BURMA World War II Postal History 1942 (2 Feb.) original reply message telegram from Supervisor, Base P.O. No. 5 at Rangoon to F.P.O. 40 at Thaton, advising that "Only unregistered correspondence to be accepted", 1942 (Apr.) envelope registered from Lahore to Calcutta in which was contained the Field Postmaster's copy of his telegram, 1942 (6 Mar.) "Memo" from A.S. Nadder, Supervisor of Base P.O. 5 marked "All clerks and inferior servants will attend office at 9 a.m. sharp today to complete all arrears of work" and upon which twelve of the thirteen members of staff have marked their attendance by initialling the memo, and an undated part of a cover of a Postmaster's Order book of Base P.O. 5 with reference to Experimental P.O.
