Lindbergh, Charles. Famed American aviator and military officer; on May 20-21, 1927, flew the first nonstop flight from New York City to Paris, flying alone in the "Spirit of St. Louis" for 33 ½ hours. Document Signed "Lindbergh". Original cargo manifest for Lindbergh's 1930 Goodwill Flight to Central and South America. He signs as Pilot upper right. Matted and framed with a postal flight cover that was carried on the tour. An image of Lindbergh in his aviator googles standing before the plane, and an image of men loading mailsacks aboard the plane. A strong signature and fine document. Framed, 23 ½ x 22 ½", sections of the frame's border ornament have come off. Ex Regency Superior Sale, October 2011, lot 33.
