40 Militia L.S. & G.C. Medals awarded to the 2nd Battalion, King's Own Malta Regiment of Militia.

Annunziato Mangion was born at Zurico (probably Zurrieq), Malta in 1874 and was a fisherman upon his enlistment into the Malta Militia in May 1897. Promoted Lance-Corporal in November 1897, Corporal in June 1989 and Sergeant in 1900, he was released in May 1911. Re-engaged in May 1916, he was paid a War Gratuity of £20 in October 1919 and had taken his Medal as per Army Order 47 of February 1918.
