Edward Mynheer was born at Titney, Lincolnshire in March 1823 and joined Boscawen (No. 76398) in March 1854. Serving in Princess Royal in the Baltic and the Sea of Azoff, being invalided to Malta in August 1855. His Medals & clasp were sent to him in March 1857, by which point he was with the Hawke Coast Guard. He remained in that service until being Shore Pensioned in March 1883, having taken his L.S. & G.C. Medal circa 1855-57; sold together with copied service record.
