East and West Africa 1887-1900, 1 clasp, 1898 (1654 Serjt: Yankar. 2nd W.A.F. Force), light contact marks, very fine

Yankar (or Yanka) is confirmed on the roll for the East and West Africa Medal as one of only 35 recipients of the 2nd W.A.F.F. to be awarded the medal. He is further entitled to an Africa General Service 1902-56 with clasp Aro 1901-02 whilst serving with the 2nd Northern Nigeria Regiment W.A.F.F.. His medal entry for the A.G.S. notes 'Discharged Time Expired 19.4.02'.
