THREE UNIQUE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE BEATLES' 1966 PERFORMANCE IN MUNICH

The Beatles, 1966 Performance at the Circus-Krone-Bau, Munich, Three unique frames from the group's 1966 performance in Munich depicting John Lenon and Paul McCartney singing and playing the guitar, and Geore Harrison playing the guitar, photographed by Frank Fischbeck.
Three high quality prints (c.7.5 x 5 inches) from a limited run, the original film negative (35mm. black and white) and contact strip for each frame, as well as copyright in each image with the right to reproduce and exploit each image.
A rare opportunity to acquire unique and professional photographs of this iconic British band

These images of the Beatles 1966 Tour of Germany were captured by Frank Fischbeck, a celebrated freelance photographer. With all the skill of inconspicuousness, photographic opportunism and the use of a slick suit, Frank Fischbeck managed to get closer to the group than anyone could have hoped for.

Fischbeck captured everything from their arrival at Bayerischer Hof Hotel, Munich, including private moments in their hotel suite and their performance at the 'Circus-Krone-Bau', to their departure from Munich Central Station.

Fischbeck was then invited back by the group to the concert where he immortalised these impressive close-ups of the band in performance including images of each band member mostly separately, but on occasion, singing together into the same microphone. The following morning, Fischbeck saw the group onto the train, managing to sit with them in their carriages and achieving some of the most striking shots of the collection.

The 1966 Tour is extremely significant in the group's extraordinary history, this being their last tour. The group split just a few years later after their famous performance on the rooftop of their studio in Savile Row now immortalised in the recent 'Get Back' documentary series.
