Harry Moore was born at Hove, Sussex on 1 May 1899, he was previously a messenger boy before he joined the Royal Navy at a Boy 2nd Class on 18 March 1915. He served on Impregnable from 18 March 1915 - 15 April 1915 before transferring to Commonwealth and served between 16 April 1915 - 3 October 1915. He finally served on Victory I between 4 October 1915 - 28 March 1916., he was then discharged to Shore.
