(x) A Great War casualty Pair to Private W. Abraham, London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers), formerly Royal West Kent Regiment who died of wounds on 3 August 1917

William Abraham enlisted into the Royal West Kent Regiment before he transferred into the 1st (City of London) Battalion (Royal Fusiliers). Upon joining this latter regiment, he received the new service number 228547. He died on 3 August 1917 on the Western Front from wounds and it buried at the Bailleul Communal Cemetery, Nord.
