Frank Devereaux was born at Leicester on 12 May 1896, the son of William and Lillian Devereaux. Attesting with the Leicestershire Regiment for service in the Great War he entered the war at some stage after 1915. Settling back in Leicester he married Lily Hopkin at Ely, Cambridgeshire, Devereaux died at Leicester on 20 January 1965 while living at 641 Welford Road; sold together with copied research.
Herbert Evelyn Bradwell was born at Nottingham on 15 April 1889, the son of James Bradwell and worked as a Railway Clerk in Nottingham prior to enlisting. Posted to the 1/5th Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment he served with them after 1915 with the rank of Corporal. Returning to Nottingham after the war he died in August 1979; sold together with copied research.
