Alan Lindsay Nyman was born at Guildford, Western Australia on 23 June 1906. He enlisted in the Australian Military Force at Paddington, New South Wales on 3 November 1941 and served as a Staff Captain posted to HQ E/COMD. He was discharged on 23 June 1956; sold together with copied research.
