Dennis Hayden Goode was born on 6 May 1923 at Croydon and joined RAF Halton as an Aircraft Apprentice in September 1939, joining 4 Wing. Made an Aircraftman 1st Class in May 1941, he joined No. 116 Squadron at Hendon and 30 Maintenance Unit at Stoke Heath in October 1941. By April 1945, Goode found himself posted to Air Command S. E. Asia at Kandy and was posted to Bombay in June 1945. Serving at 1 Aircraft Repair Depot at Worli by April 1947, he was then at the Reception Centre at Mauripur in September 1947 and the Royal Pakistan Air Force Station at Drigh Road. Listed on the Pakistan RAF Special Duty List in January 1948, he was authorised the Pakistan Independence Medal 1948 as per Air Ministry Order A617. Goode transferred to the Reserve in July 1953 and died at Worthing in August 2004; sold together with copied Service Record.
