1939-1945 Star; Defence and War Medals 1939-1945, good very fine (3)

David Glyndwr Watkins had seen previous service with the Welsh Regiment between 14 May 1936 - 23 April 1937 before seeing service with the King's Shropshire Light Infantry between 24 April 1937 - 11 January 1939. He re-enlisted at Bath on 12 January 1939. He served as part of the British Expeditionary Force from 25 September 1939 - 5 June 1940. He remained at Home from 6 June 1940 - 11 December 1944 before serving in India between 12 December 1944 - 19 December 1945, he returned Home and was discharged on 8 March 1946.
