Charles William Frederick Beaumont-Edmonds was born on 14 June 1885 and originally enlisted into the 28th London Regiment (Artist's Rifles) between 9 September 1914 - 12 March 1916. He was commissioned Lieutenant into the Army Ordnance Corps on 13 March 1916 and entered the war in France on 16 July 1916. He applied for his medals on 18 July 1921 and they were sent to his address of 111 Palace Road, Tulse Hill, London S.W.2.
