Wiliam Arthur Box was born and enlisted at Broadway, Worcestershire. He was attached to the M.T. Spare Parts Depot of the Army Service Corps serving in East Africa and died on 14 January 1918 and is buried in the Dar Es Salaam Cemetery, Tanzania.

Sold with lid for the box for the campaign medals.
