A Great War Casualty Pair awarded to Private J. Scott, Rifle Brigade, late Army Service Corps, who was killed in action on 29 August 1918

Jesse Scott was born in 1893 at Bletchley, Buckinghamshire and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Scott, of "Ferndale," 7, Osborne St., Bletchley. He enlisted into the Army Service Corps at Stratford, Essex. Scott first saw service in the Balkans from 1 July 1915 and transferred to the Rifle Brigade and was given the number B/201415. Scott was killed in action whilst serving with the 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade on 29 August 1918. and is commemorated on the Vis-En-Artois Memorial.
