A well-documented group of three awarded to Stoker Class I A. Dyke, Royal Navy

Arthur Jesse Dyke was born at Hackbridge, Mitcham, Surrey on 17 October 1892 and enlisted initially with the Royal Navy on 10 November 1910. Serving with the Chatham Division he was transferred to the Royal Navy on 18 January 1912. Stationed with the destroyer Stag on the outbreak of the Great War Dyke was transferred to Indomitable on 12 August 1915.

Seeing further service with Patrol from September 1916 - 19 January 1919, finishing the war with the rank of Leading Stoker. Dyke remained in service until 26 January 1924 when he was discharged ashore and settled back at London, getting work with Essex Council as a Boiler Stoker at a Hospital. He was working at St George's Hospital, Hornchurch when he died on 19 December 1979; sold together with copied research and an archive of original documents comprising:

Letter of recommendation from the Royal Navy.

Letter of recommendation from Essex County Council.

iii)
Certificate of Stoker's Qualifications.

iv)
Ticker tape certificate of Posting a Registered Parcel.
