John Paget Davies was born at Llanddulas, Denbighshire on 28 March 1899. He joined the Royal Navy as a Boy II Class on 10 February 1915 and served on Impregnable until 13 May 1915. He then served on Conqueror until 31 December 1917. He briefly served on Vivid I until 8 February 1918 before briefly serving on Defiant 2 May 1918 and then Attentive until 2 October 1918, he then returned to Vivid I. Davies left the service on 27 March 1929.

George Gunner Wallis was born at Colwyn Bay, North Wales on 20 September 1901. After his Great War service in the Mercantile Marine he became a shoe retailer and died on 7 November 1972.
