(x) King's South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (6191 Pte. F. Rutland. E. Kent Regt), very fine

Frank Rutland was a painter before he enlisted as a Private into the 2nd Battalion East Kent Regiment on 9 January 1900. He saw service during the Boer War and is additionally entitled to a Queen's South Africa medal with the clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, and Transvaal. He remained in service after the war and was discharged on 10 May 1904.
