Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 5 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (20428 Pte W. Cook. 2nd Coy Imp: Yeo:), the last two clasps fitted to the Transvaal clasp with a riband roller and not rivetts, lightly toned, good very fine (2)
Harry James was born at Willesden, London, and was a Porter before he attested in London on 18 February 1901 and served in South Africa between 16 March 1901 - 10 November 1901. He was discharged at Shorncliffe on 12 December 1901 as a result of being no longer medically fit for service.
William Cook is confirmed as serving with the 2nd (Wiltshire) Company, 1 Battalion Imperial Yeomanry.
