Chitrabahadur Gurung was born in 1935 and enlisted into the Brigade of Gurkhas in October 1952. The majority of his time was spent with the Signals Platoon and the Battalion Pay Team, posted to Malaya on no less than nine tours. He was discharged after fifteen years of exemplary service at Singapore in September 1967; sold together with copied Service Record.
