Victory Medal 1914-19 (2.Lieut. J. Boughey. R.A.F.), good very fine

Jeffrey Boughey was born at Brand Common, Norton in Hales, Market Drayton, Salop, on 4 October 1899. He joined the Royal Flying Corps on 7 November 1917. He was promoted to Temporary Second Lieutenant as an Observer Officer (London Gazette 6 August 1918) and was admitted to hospital on 26 August 1918 and was then transferred to 39 General Hospital at Havre on 30 August 1918. Boughey was transferred to the Unemployed List on 17 April 1919.
