GL, small to huge margins all round and showing traces of the adjoining stamp at left, tied by crisp black Maltese Cross cancellation, on neat envelope to Chislehurst with Farnham datestamp (mileage removed) of 8 July 1841 alongside, dated markings on the reverse; fine and an exceptionally attractive cover from this the rarest of the Penny Black Plates.
