Roman Empire, Hadrian (AD 117-138), AR Denarii of Salus (3): i) Rome, IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, laureate head right, rev. P M TR P COS III, Salus seated left, feeding snake, coiled aorund altar to left, from patera, 2.70g (RIC 374; BMC 314), good fine; ii) another, as before, but slight drapery to far shoulder of portrait, 2.57g (RIC 375; cf. BM 1937, 1107.13, which showcases the same drapery), struck in nice style, darkly toned, aside from some verdigris, good fine to very fine; iii) another, as before, but laureate and draped bust right, 2.96g (RIC 378; BMC 317), some light spots of corrosion to reverse, otherwise very fine; (3).
