Arthur Perry was a 32-year-old miner from Brierley Hill who embarked to France on 23 August 1915 with the Tunnelling Company Depot, Royal Engineers. Admitted to hospital on several occasions he was crushed by a lorry between a wall and his back on 25 August 1918 and admitted to the 55th General Hospital in France before being transferred to the Manchester Royal Infirmary at home. Given a 20% disability pension he was discharged to the Reserve on 18 March 1919; sold together with copied research.
Frederick Zebulon Perry was born on 26 December 1883 at Chelsea and enlisted in the Royal Field Artillery, embarking for France on 31 May 1915. He died at home on 29 July 1917, the circumstances of which are unknown. Perry is buried at Fulham Palace Road Cemetery; sold together with copied research.
