Jacob Perry, of Durban, South Africa, is understood to have been of Jewish heritage and a taxi driver and hotelier by profession.

William Perry enlisted at Birmingham in the 12th Squadron, (Cavalry) Machine Gun Corps, and was killed in action on 8 August 1917. He is buried at Hargicourt British Cemetery, Aisne, France; sold together with copied research.

Clarence Perry was born on 19 June 1892 and served with the Machine Gun Corps during the First World War. He operated the Cumberland Arms Public House in Northwich, Cheshire from 1932 until his death in 1941; sold together with copied research.
