Ezra Harold Martin was born at Cold Ashby, Northamptonshire on 17 March 1898, the son of Lewis and Annie Martin. He entered the war with the 25th 'Old and Bold' Battalion, Royal Fusiliers in East Africa on 18 September 1917 and served there until 28 November 1917 when the unit returned to Britain. Surviving the war he moved to Lincolnshire and died there on 4 November 1957; sold together with copied research.
