Nathan Gosling was born at Staines around 1893, the son of Henry and Janes Gosling of 2 Railway Cottages, Staines.

Charlotte Martha Gosling was born at Staines on 22 December 1894 the daughter of Henry and Janes Gosling of 2 Railway Cottages, Staines. Her father was a Railway Platelayer and had also been born in Staines. The younger Gosling trained as a maid and appeared in the 1911 census at 7 Rosslyn Road, Twickenham. Here she was working as a household maid for Major F. E. Walter, Royal Artillery (Retired), commanding corps of commissionaires. Gosling died at 10A Ladybank, Bracknell, Berkshire on 27 July 1986; sold together with copied census data and medal rolls.
