Harry Henry Billett was born at Islington on 11 November 1884 and entered the Royal Navy as Boy 2nd Class on 13 August 1900. During the Great War he served aboard Marlborough and Tyne and was discharged in February 1926. Returned to the fold during the Second World War, Billett was invalided on 30 January 1943.
