1930 (5 July) envelope from Kuching to Singapore, addressed to Edinburgh, marked "R.A.F. Flying Boat S1419", franked at 16c. , showing "by air mail" label and, on reverse, Singapore datestamp (7.7). 5 postcards, 182 registered and 167 ordinary letters carried. Photo

Note: On July 6th S1419 and S1149 left Kuching and flew to their base at Seletar, just outside Singapore. An additional air mail fee of 10 cents per ½ ounce was charged.
