1930 (9 June) envelope flown on the third stage from Sandakan to Tawau, franked at 40c. with special framed "air mail/Aeroplane/north borneo" cachet, showing despatch datestamp alongside and, on reverse, just legible arrival datestamp. Photo

Note: On June 10th S1149 flew to Tawau. Reconnaissance flights were made until June 20th when the planes returned to Sandakan.
