Great Britain: Photographic Association Limited, £1 ordinary shares, fully paid, 1899[1901], #72, signed by John le Couteur and his wife Maude as directors, black. Following the creation of this company in 1894, Le Couteur obtained a license to deal with Gaumont film equipment and also experimented with early film, shooting several reels of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee celebrations. As a businessman he was not so good and after losing the Gaumont license he and his wife commited double suicide at the company's offices in Hannover Square, London in 1905. VF and rare.
