Great Britain: Newark Castle Baths and Grounds, £5 original share, undated but circa 1845, #27, small format in the form of a membership card, black, on porcelain coated card, vignette of the castle in centre. 12th century ruin that became famous for its part in the English Civil War after which it was destroyed by order of Parliament. A public baths was opened in the ground in August 1845 to which this piece relates. F-VF and rare.
