Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., E.VII.R. (Ch. 7740 H. V. Naylor, Corporal R.M.L.I.), very fine

Henry Vincent Naylor was born at Mile End, London on 20 July 1874 and was a professional seaman upon his joining the Royal Marine Light Infantry on 16 August 1893. Having earned his L.S. & G.C. Medal on 20 September 1908, he served in the Persian Gulf (N.G.S. & clasp) and during the Great War, he was discharged as a Colour-Sergeant on 19 August 1919, intending to live at Earlsfield.
