Cyril Fred Dennis Colls attested with the Royal Field Artillery on 21 June 1915. He was appointed Bombardier on 2 February 1916 and promoted Corporal on 7 October 1917. Posted to the M.E.F. on 23 June 1917 Colls arrived in Egypt on 23 November 1917 joining 388th Battery. Later sent to Alexandria on 3 April 1918 saw he service with 52nd and 53rd Divisional Ammunition Columns. Returning home on 12 June 1919 he was demobilised on 10 July; sold together with copied M.I.C. and service records.
