Fredrick Piper was born in 1891, the son of Fanny Piper of Pleasant Mount, Cosham, Hampshire. Enlisting in Portsmouth he served with 15th (2nd Portsmouth) Battalion during the Great War. During the second attack on the Gird Trenches on 7 October Piper was killed in action. He is buried at Warlencourt British Cemetery; sold together with copied research including .M.I.C and Commonwealth War Graves details.
