Great Britain: Smokeless Powder Company Limited, £1 shares, 18[97], #630, scrollwork at left, blue, printed by Waterlow & Sons. Originally Formed in 1887, re-registered in 1894 and took a lease over 126 acres in Hertfordshire, renamed Barwick, which then became a factory hamlet. The company produced gunpowder for ammunition and blasting and supplied some of the best gun and ammunition manufacturers. See previous lot. VF.
