Great Britain: Phonopore Syndicate Limited, a pair of certificates for £1 ordinary shares, 188[9], #290, black and £1 ordinary shares, 189[2], #112, blue. A useful invention allowing the apparatus to be connected to the same wiring as the Morse telegraph to give simultaneous speech and telegraphy. This was of particular interest to the railways saving the expense of laying new telephone cable and the machines were widely used until the 1930's. F-VF and VF (2).
