Great Britain: National Telewriter Company Limited, pair of certificates for £1 preferred ordinary shares, 1909[1911], #731, green and deferred ordinary shares, 1909[1911], #103, red. An early forerunner to the facsimile machine allowing a subscriber to send handwritten messages over the telephone line. Some big clients were Fortnum & Mason, Harrod's and Army and Navy Stores. Eventually installed in various stock and produce exchanges in London, Liverpool and Manchester. Still in existence in 1933 but no trace after that.VF-EF (2)
