Great Britain: Phonopore Company Limited, a pair of certificates for £1 preference shares, 189[2], #15, blue and £1 ordinary shares, 189[2], #247, black, both printed by Waterlow & Sons. A useful invention allowing the apparatus to be connected to the same wiring as the Morse telegraph to give simultaneous speech and telegraphy. This was of particular interest to the railways saving the expense of laying new telephone cable and the machines were widely used until the 1930's. VF (2).
