1954 (10 Mar.) envelope sent from a military unit in Shigatse to Injang, Kweichow province bearing Tien An Men $1000 bearing a fair strike of Shigatse type T3 c.d.s. (possibly the earliest recorded date) with transit and arrival c.d.s. on the reverse. Also 1953 (9 Dec.) registered cover from Chungking to Lhasa and redirected to Sikang, with $3200 franking tied by the despatch c.d.s. includes a faint strike of Lhasa type T1 c.d.s.
